Attitude is loving the bear

The latest issue of Attitude magazine features 'hot, hairy & huge' (straight) gay rugby icon Ben Cohen on the cover and in a several page spread inside scattered with some pretty good sports- and underwear photos of big Ben, and has a feature on bears and a bit of a gay sport theme.

Buy it or don't.

Oddly, the cover manages to render him packageless. I blame Dolce & Gabbana. Nice girdle of Adonis though.

To be honest, Ben Cohen, Babydaddy, Jack Osbourne - it all seems a little tired, despite the ongoing trend for facial hair and the enduring fashion for boybeards.

Having said that, Ben Cohen does have an absurdly beautiful muscle bear physique - even if his career has gone a bit blah.

And he loves the gays (yes dear, but have you had sex with one?)

What sort of man wears mantyhose?

Skinny trousers for men are everywhere. But how many will take the trend for figure-hugging legwear one step beyond, and wear tights?

PS: This is more like leggings for men than men's lingerie.

Speaking as someone who owns (and ahem, enjoys) running tights - for running, obviously - I'm not sure if I'd go this far...

... and if you're really into the idea, check this out!

Strictly - Ricky Whittle

Possibily the best male celebrity dancer ever on Strictly - certainly this early in the competition - sexy, handsome Hollyoaks Ricky Whittle is not shy of stripping off for the cameras. For which, many thanks.

Strictly - Rav Wilding

OK - the dancing's a bit wooden still and he's weirdly hairless but the chest is great and he has a lovely face (as well as that sexy ex-army, ex-police background...)

Rav Wilding was voted out of Strictly Come Dancing in Week 3 (3 Oct)

Could an American win the X Factor?

It's far too early to tell, but how far in this year's X-Factor will Chicago boy Ethan Boroian go?

He looks like a dream, he sang a decent version of Kings of Leon's Use Somebody and he has to be a contender - for now anyway.

[Well, the dream is over - the lovely Ethan was booted from the X-Factor by Cheryl Cole in the 'Judge's Houses' week before the live finals. I love Cheryl Cole - but she picked the wrong three!]

Strictly Calzaghe

My favourite story in the papers today was a report in the METRO's Green Room column that reported that bosses at BBC's Strictly Come Dancing have requested that hot former boxer Joe Calzaghe wears two pairs of briefs as 'there is a lot of movement'.

This story had the ladies at work slightly disturbed, but left me with a smile on my face all day.

I'm now looking forward to the Latin...

Well the first week is out of the way and the truth can now be revealed. Joe Calzaghe can't dance. It's Mark Foster all over again. Good on paper. Bad on the dancefloor. Rav Wilding's hotter anyway (but not much better so far).

Editors - Papillon

Taking the 'difficult third album' notion by the throat, Editors release their absurdly good new single Papillon.

It brilliantly manages to sound unlike anything else they've done and yet completely like Editors. It's fashionably retro and yet thrillingly modern.

I loved them from the moment I heard Munich and they've not disappointed me yet.

Can't wait for the album.

Rammstein reveal Pussy

The world's greatest German (and possibly any nationality of) rock band - the almighty Rammstein are due to return soon.

They release a new single Pussy on 18 September, to be followed by a new album on 16 October.

The word is that the new album is a work of immense power and a worthy follow up to the splendid Rosenrot.

They have also just announced three UK dates for 2010 in addition to other European tour dates in 2009 and 2010.

2010-02-02 Manchester / GB / (MEN) www.ticketmaster.co.uk
2010-02-03 Birmingham / GB / (LG Arena) www.ticketmaster.co.uk
2010-02-04 London / GB / (Wembley Arena) www.ticketmaster.co.uk

Their new imagery is typically provocative.
