Robin Thicke

Robin Thicke is a Grammy Award winning American R&B and soul singer, songwriter, musician, composer, and occasional actor. He is sometimes billed as just Thicke - which so doesn't work as a name in the UK.

Musically he is in a simliar mould to Justin Timberlake when he is at his most R&B and has recently been working with The Neptunes' Pharrell Williams. So far he has remained relatively unknown in the UK despite some international success elsewhere and platinum sales in the US.

American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis covered Robin Thicke's When I Get You Alone to great effect in the semi-final of the show.

Original having 'trademark' long-hair Robin has cleaned up his act and is currently sporting a lustrous loose quiff and some facial manscaping, which he is probably why I noticed him ... musically, he seems promising if somewhat unrelentingly heterosexual and there is certainly no great surplus of male solo stars at the moment so watch this space.

Dermot O'Leary

The return of Big Brother to UK TV screens gives us the opportunity for an another entirely gratuitous opportunity for a couple of pictures of the sublime TV guy-candy Dermot O'Leary, who is presenting Big Brother's Little Brother as usual.

Danny Bayne - Grease Is The Word

It is hard to put into words just how much this picture doesn't do him justice but 19-year old Danny Bayne from Kent had made it through the boys semi-final of ITV's Grease Is The Word - and he is gorgeous.

Handsome, beefy and talented, he must now be favourite to take the role of Danny Zuko in the new production of Grease in the West End - for that is the point of the show - and much as I hate Grease, I wish this sexy young man all the best and lets hope we see a lot more of him...

Chris Daughtry

Finally got to see the finale of this season's American Idol and it was good to see the return of Chris Daughtry with his band playing this season's eviction reel track Home.

Even better to see that he is still working the designer beard and guyliner look.

Daughtry - the debut album - has gone double platinum in the US and spawned two number one singles - has it even been released in the UK?
