Shayne Ward

The world of pop is eagerly awaiting the return of former X-Factor winner Shayne Ward. Actually, this is probably not true, but he does have a new single - If That's OK With You - out in August and his second album to follow.

The single itself is a very commercial piece of upbeat R&B, with what some people would probably describe as 'a summery vibe'. Personally, I was hoping for something edgier and darker but as pretty as he is, Justin Timberlake he ain't, alas.

Judging from the video, Shayne is sporting at least two new tattoos - a tribal one on his arm and one on his chest - and he's still sporting the short cropped hair and stubble - so that's all good.

Daniel Bedingfield

Can there be a sadder story that having your little sister beat you at something - publicly?

I was watching Natasha Bedingfield perform at the Concert for Diana the other week, and there was that question again - what the hell happened to Daniel Bedingfield?

A hugely succesful debut album spawining number 1 hits and at least one bona fide pop classic - If You're Not the One and then a classic pop mistake - he grew his hair and his second album sort of sucked.

In answer to the question, he is reportedly working a third album for release sometime. Natasha. meanwhile, wants to 'have your babies', so steer well clear.

Balthazar Getty

Balthazar Getty entered the movie business in 1987 when he auditioned for the lead role in the movie Lord of the Flies after being spotted by a talent scout in his art class at school. During the course of the 1990s and early 2000s, Getty has participated in movies like Young Guns II, Natural Born Killers, Judge Dredd, White Squall, Lost Highway, Ladder 49 and the television series Traffic.

He also has guest-starred on the television series Charmed as a male witch. He appeared in the fifth season of the hit show Alias. He currently stars in the ABC prime time drama Brothers & Sisters, currently showing on Channel 4 and E4 in the UK.

In the past he has been romantically linked with Drew Barrymore (boo!) and Milla Jovovich (yay!) but is now married (boo!). His best friend is fellow TV hunk Grey's Anatomy's Eric Dane and he is apparently often mistaken for Charlie Sheen. And, yes, he is one of the Gettys.

Pretty cute too, especially now he's getting a bit older.

Josh Duhamel

Josh Duhamel is a former model and actor - soon to be seen in the new Transformers movie.

Josh is best known for his appearances in US soaps, the title role in Win a Date With Tad Hamilton! and TV series Las Vegas. Transformers is his biggest film role to date.

The bad news is - for those of us who hoped he batted on our side - he is currently dating Fergie - the one from Black Eyed Peas, not the former Duchess or York.
