A very buff-looking Gary Barlow celebrates Take That's runner-up best-selling album of the year prize by getting his kit off for last month's i-D magazine. Or something like that.

B*Boy Underwear
B*boy Underwear has been created by Australian William Baker, designer and stylist, who is best known for his work with Kylie Minogue.
The range also includes swimwear.
I really like the clean graphic lines and especially their lovely bruised angel-looking American model Evan Wadle.

Babygod
Babygod are a new British men's clothing company who create clothing from organic cotton that comes from fairly-traded sources.
Now that sounds like it has all the potential to be dull and worthy, but their underwear is cleanly styled, very contemporary and rather sexy, and although their website gives little away (even their clothing range), they seem to be using a delightful amount of bearish models...
I'm sure you'll be seeing some hairy baby god wearing Babygod in a club near you soon...

Take That - Greatest Day for The Circus
Take That have scored the biggest first day sale of the year with their new album, The Circus.
The album sold 133,000 copies on its launch day on Monday, according to Official Charts Company sales data.
The figure puts the album easily on course to be number one in Sunday's album chart.
The year's previous fastest-selling album was Coldplay's Viva La Vida Or death And All His Friends, which sold 125,000 copies on its first day.
Despite netting the biggest first day sale title, sales of the album had actually been hit due to the collapse of major CD distributor Entertainment UK last week.
Several key retailers including Woolworths, Zavvi and W H Smith were left without the album on shelves and online on Monday.

Men get better with age - Gary Barlow
From the very first time I saw a photograph of Take That in 1991, before I even heard their first single, I liked Gary Barlow the best.
For years this meant I was out of step with most people - although, to be fair, Gary has always had a large and loyal following within Take That's large and loyal fanbase.
And now, more than fifteen year later, I like him just as much. In fact, I like him more, because men get better with age.

James T Kirk
It is no longer fashionable (or indeed actually possible anymore) to consider William Shatner as attractive, but I'm sure many men of my age and persuasion were taken with his classic turn as James T Kirk in the original Star Trek TV series - although not the films, needless to say. The years have not been kind.
And now - James T Kirk is back and as pretty (or prettier than ever) - in the shape of Chris Pine in the forthcoming J J Abrams/Bad Robot production of Star Trek.
Welcome back, Captain.

Kent Riley
I know I've banged on about Hollyoaks and Dancing On Ice star Chris Fountain enough before so here's one of his Hollyoaks co-stars for balance - Kent Riley aka Zak Ramsey.
Cute scouser and probably a better body than the Fountain - there, I said it.
This shot is from the 2009 Hollyoaks Hunks calendar - if you need a copy to go up in your kitchen.

From TASHEN - The Big Penis Book - the ideal gift!
After the bust out success of their The Big Book of Breasts favourite publisher TASCHEN presents the perfect companion, The Big Penis Book.
When it comes to pleasure, size doesn’t matter; as we all know it’s quality, not quantity, that counts. But let’s admit it: a big penis is undeniably compelling. Big shoulders, big lapels, and big hair may come and go, but the big penis never goes out of fashion. With those possessing more than 8 inches (20 cm) making up less than 2% of the world’s population, this rare accessory will always fascinate.
This hefty book is profusely illustrated with over 400 historic photos of spectacular male endowments, including rare photos of the legendary John Holmes. The majority of the photographs are from the 1970s, when the sexual revolution first freed photographers to depict the male entirely nude. Photographers include Bob Mizer of Athletic Model Guild, David Hurles of Old Reliable, Colt, Falcon, Sierra Domino, Third World, and Champion Studios, with each of these iconic photographers interviewed or profiled, along with information about each of their models.

Cooking up Idol success?
The 'proper' debut single from American Idol winner David Cook is released in the States at the end of September. Called Light On, it's co-written with former Soundgarden frontman and last Bond theme singer, Chris Cornell, and some bloke from Puddle of Mudd.
I can't help wondering if David Cook, like Chris Daughtry, will have huge success in the States that will not translate across the Atlantic..
Cook is the seventh American Idol winner, and despite much American success for previous winners and contestants - Daughtry didn't win the contest - only Kelly Clarkson, and to a lesser extent recently, Jordin Sparks, have gone on to have any UK chart success. Is it an ITV2 thing?

Armani! Mark Foster does David Beckham
British Olympic swimmer and now Strictly Come Dancing star Mark Foster has - rather impressively - recreated Becks' famous Emporio Armani underwear ad for, well, Now magazine actually. Now that' classy.
Handsome as he is, I think I'm more interested in former Rugby star Austin Healey's cheeky persona (and lovely arse).

Fountain at Tiffany's
I almost never have any inside information but I have it on very good authority that everyone's favourite Hollyoaks boy and Dancing on Ice star Chris Fountain is in New York with his mum to get something nice from Tiffany for his 21st Birthday. Classy, sexy and sweet.
The Fountain is 21 on 3 September. Happy Birthday, sexy.

Diving Out
The Olympics had my sporting interest and patriotism running at full flow - such a great result for Team GB - but I feel it's worth a mention that while British eyes during the men's 10m platform diving were on 14 year-old Tom Daley - who came a very creditable seventh - the Gold medal was won - unexpectedly snatched from the Chinese - by 20 year-old Australian diver Matthew Mitcham (in fabulously tiny trunks).
Matthew Mitcham was the only openly gay male competitor in Beijing. And he won Gold. Makes you proud, doesn't it.
I wonder how many of those thousands of other male competitors were also gay but less courageous in being open about it... but I can think of quite a few I wish were... (mentioning no rowers, or cyclists, water polo players, or gymnasts, or... )

Hot or just stupid?
Sexy menswear label Rufskin introduce the, er, chest accessory - not quite a T-shirt, not really jewellery.
Sexy, odd or just plain daft?
One thing is for sure... I'd look an absolute bastard in it...

Olympics 2008 - the guilty pleasure of sport
Inevitably during the Olympics my generally sluggish interest in sport sees something of a revival - you know how it is, somehow you're unexpectedly gripped by watching sports that would normally have you reaching for the remote...
Which brings us to Greco-Roman Wrestling...

Mamma Mia! Dominic Cooper gets wet
Former History Boy Dominic Cooper, who is currently holding up the younger end of the man candy in ABBA movie Mamma Mia! has got all wet for Attitude magazine.
He'd look good wet with fellow History Boy Russell Tovey... and a beard.
