The new Star Trek film - which will tell the story of the classic Star Trek crew meeting at the Starfleet Academy and embarking on their first mission - is starting to look like a boy bonanza, now the final main cast have been announced.

Chris Pine will play Captain James T Kirk


Heroes' Zachary Quinto will play Mr Spock


British comedy star and Sci-fi buff Simon Pegg will appear as Scotty


Karl Urban will be playing Dr Leonard 'Bones' McCoy


The main cast will be completed by Zoe Saldana as Uhura, Anton Yelchin as Chekov and Mr Sulu will be played by John Cho. Leonard Nimmoy will appear as the older Spock, presumably because Vulcans live longer... Let's just hope it doesn't suck.
