OK, the film has had some very mixed reviews - "Tarantino for teens", anyone - but any deficiencies Smokin' Aces may have is reasonably compensated by fit blokes with facial hair - boys with beards.

For starters, another starring role for the cub-tabulous Ryan Reynolds - who always looks amazing with a beard and just vaguely boyish without.

Ben Affleck is sporting a rather fetching but hard-to-pull-off gaucho mustache.

Up-and-coming star Chris Pine - he has previously appeared in Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement and Just My Luck with the catastrophic Lindsay Lohan, as well as TV appearances in E.R., CSI: Miami and Six Feet Under - appears bearded but with a nasty set of stained and gold-enhanced teeth.
